How We Help Develop a Jewelry Brand from Scratch – and Support Its Growth and Success

How to enter a highly saturated market segment and become recognizable? How to create a unique design code that drives sales? How to make the design charming enough without appearing overly childish?

Challenge

We serve as the design and communications partner for this newly established jewelry chain. A saturated jewelry market, where brands looked nearly identical and projected an intimidating luxury aesthetic. Notably, the company already had a brand name and a partially developed identity, which we later refined.

Our task was to develop a brand that embodied lightness and romance, drawing inspiration from cloud-like softness and a distinctive two-tone packaging with a lipstick-colored ribbon. Together with the client, we needed to achieve market penetration, rapid expansion of the retail network, and a unique format and positioning that would capture consumer interest.

Approach

A strong focus was placed on visual identity, as differentiation was crucial in a market where brands often looked too similar. We needed a distinctive factor at the retail environment level and in packaging design. Elegant posters adorned the walls of jewelry boutiques, while a two-tone packaging concept—refined through multiple 3D visualizations and testing rounds—finally took its final form.

Significant attention was also given to positioning and assortment strategy. We engaged in continuous discussions with stakeholders, refining the brand’s message and market approach. Ultimately, we positioned the brand around the concept of fine jewelry as a gift, reinforcing its emotional and aspirational appeal.

For brand promotion, we proposed an omnichannel strategy, leveraging outdoor advertising, aggressive digital marketing, and sponsorships. As the brand evolved, we developed CG-enhanced creative assets, supporting collection launches and a series of promotional campaigns designed to drive sales growth.

Impact

The brand took off like a hot air balloon, rapidly gaining altitude. As a design agency, we equipped it with everything needed—from the fundamental principles of visual identity and precise color formulas to packaging of all sizes, signage, and a strong presence in the media landscape.

We supported dozens of communication initiatives, including new collection launches tied to key media moments, sponsorships, and promotional campaigns. The brand firmly established itself in the market as the go-to destination for fine jewelry gifts and one of the most romantic retail experiences.
